Výrobce uvádí plochu okolo šestnácti krát deseti centimetrů. U větší budovy proto počítejte s tím, že budete potřebovat víc než jedno balení, zvlášť pokud chcete zachovat přesahy mezi řadami.

Papír je probarvený už z výroby, takže základní odstín máte hotový. Většina stavitelů jen dolaďuje odstín suchými pigmenty a zdůrazňuje spáry, aby povrch nepůsobil ploše.

Nejlépe se osvědčují lepidla, která do papíru nevnášejí velké množství vlhkosti. Vodnaté lepidlo materiál zvlní a rovinu už nevrátíte, proto se nanáší po malých plochách.

Ano, obě varianty řeší tentýž materiál a tutéž plochu, rozdíl je v odstínu. Světlejší působí jako vysušená starší střecha, tmavší jako novější nebo vlhčí povrch.
