Responsibility details are not available.
The fittings of an old kitchen in 1:35 scale from the Italian brand Royal Model. The main piece is a cast-iron wood stove with a hotplate and a flue, joined by a sheet-metal box for fuel. Everything is cast in resin and supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Stoves of this kind heated the room and cooked the food from the late 19th century well into the 1950s, so the set belongs in an interior from either world war and in a postwar scene as well. It shows best in a cutaway house or in the corner of a ruin that you can see into: a crew warming up a meal, a billeted staff, a family sheltering from shelling. The small things around the hotplate draw the viewer's eye more reliably than the vehicle itself.
Cast iron grows out of a dark gray base over which a graphite or steel shade is dry-brushed; the metallic sheen appears only on the edges and where hands have touched. Suggest the rust around the hotplate and on the flue with pigments and the greasy marks with a dark wash. Leave the enameled surfaces smooth and glossy instead, because the contrast of the two finishes is what makes the scene believable.
Get the paints and glue separately, they are not in the box.
