A suit appears rarely in 1:35 scale, and builders reach for one mostly only for staff officers or passers-by. Yet it is exactly a suit that gives away the setting at once: an undead figure in a jacket belongs in an office district, in a bank, at a railroad station or among overturned cars in a shopping street, not on a country road. You thus get a piece of a city into a display case even if you build no more of it than the corner of a building. A jacket also holds its shape differently from a windbreaker or a uniform, so posture reads quite differently under it.
The sharp boundary between the jacket, the shirt and the tie calls for a steady hand and looks better if you paint the individual areas separately and leave the edges until the end. The cloth of the suit does not need to be brought out excessively; a fine transition into light on the shoulders and a deeper shadow under the lapels are enough.
