An injection-molded plastic kit of the German armored off-road vehicle Wolf SSA (Geschützter Geländewagen) in 1:35 scale from Neverland Hobby. It is the protected version of the light military off-road vehicle on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class chassis, used by the German Bundeswehr. The boxing combines plastic parts with photo-etched and 3D-printed extras.
Wolf is the German designation of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class military off-road vehicles. The Wolf SSA version is the protected (armored) variant intended for riskier deployments: the body and the windows are resistant to gunfire to NATO standards and the underside of the vehicle can be fitted with mine protection. It serves to protect the crew on patrol, escort and communications duties.
Finish the chassis, the engine and the interior first, and only then close the body. Bond the photo-etched and 3D-printed parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and use liquid modeling cement on the plastic joints. The enclosed masking and mirror foils make the fine details easier. At the end add washes and pigments for mud and dust effects, which give the vehicle realistic weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
