Lifebuoys for ship models in 1:350 scale in the form of a 3D decal. The elements are not a flat print; they have modeled relief, so once applied they look like a separate object hung on a railing or on the wall of a superstructure.
The 1:350 scale is the most widespread one for ship models, and it is exactly there that it shows most whether the builder has finished the small deck equipment. Lifebuoys belong among the elements the eye finds at once: they are spaced regularly along the whole length of the ship and give the hull its sense of scale. They are hard to make by hand at this size, so finished elements save a great deal of time and nerves.
The surface where they go has to be clean, smooth, degreased and the varnish under it completely dry. Separate and move the elements with tweezers or a moistened pointed brush, seat them one at a time and press them down lightly with a cotton bud. Before applying them, check in the maker's instructions how the elements are attached to the base. The way they are applied differs between the individual sets, so until you have checked it in the instructions, do not start work.
The set is for builders of ship models and dioramas in 1:350 scale who want the deck equipped down to the detail. It is not demanding of experience, rather of calm, tweezers and good light.
