A set of sixteen turned brass barrels of 105 mm caliber of the SK C/33 type in 1:350 scale from the Polish manufacturer Aber. It is a metal aftermarket accessory, not a kit. This variant is intended for heavy anti-aircraft guns mounted in the stabilized C/37 type mount on models of German warships.
The 105 mm gun of the SK C/33 type formed the heavy anti-aircraft defense of the large ships of the Kriegsmarine. The newer stabilized twin mount of the C/37 type improved the accuracy of fire against air targets compared with the older form. Sixteen barrels match eight mounts.
Turned barrels have a more faithful muzzle and are tougher than plastic. Cut the plastic barrels off, clean the mating surfaces up, degrease the brass and fit them with super glue. It is advisable to prime the metal before painting.
This is a metal detail accessory. The ship model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
