A detailed cockpit for the A-10A Thunderbolt II in the Detailed edition (the thorough version) in 1:48 scale from Reskit. This is not an aircraft model but a resin and 3D-printed upgrade set for the A-10 plastic kit from Great Wall Hobby, which has to be owned separately.
The thorough version builds on individually printed parts, a detailed cockpit tub, the instrument panel, the consoles, the levers and the ejection seat, which the modeler paints himself. It therefore offers the highest level of detail for anyone who wants to paint and shade the interior.
Wash the parts to remove print resin residue, cut off the supports and bond them with super glue. Spray the cockpit over a primer and bring out the instruments with dry brushing and a wash. Finish the interior before closing up the fuselage.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit has to be bought separately; paints and glue are not included in the package.
