A detailed cockpit for the A-10C Thunderbolt II in the Basic edition with photorealistic 3D decals, in 1:48 scale from Reskit. It is not an aircraft model but a resin and 3D printed upgrade set for the A-10 plastic kit from Great Wall Hobby, which has to be owned separately.
The basic version uses simpler printed parts complemented by layered 3D decals, which give the instrument panel and the consoles realistic color and depth without laborious painting. The interior therefore comes together more quickly and more cleanly than with the detailed version meant to be painted.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut off the supports and bond them with super glue. Apply the 3D decals onto a clean, smooth surface; in lukewarm water they soften and follow the shape well. Fit the interior before closing the fuselage.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit has to be bought separately; paints and glue are not included in the package.
