Four resin AIM-7A Sparrow I missiles in 1:48 scale. Faithful 3D-printed external stores for models of early jet fighters.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detail accessory for the armament, not an aircraft model. The package contains four faithfully rendered American AIM-7A Sparrow I air-to-air guided missiles produced by modern 3D printing. They serve to complete the external stores of models of early jet fighters.
The AIM-7A Sparrow I was the first, early version of the American Sparrow family of air-to-air missiles, dating from the start of the 1950s. It differs from the later radar-guided versions in the form of the body and of the control surfaces, which matters for building period aircraft faithfully.
Separate the missiles from the print supports, clean them up and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint them in period ordnance shades and add the color bands and fine highlights.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
