A set of corrected canards for a model of the Saab 37 Viggen in the AJ-37, SF-37 and SH-37 versions in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Viggen is a Swedish combat aircraft with an unusual layout: a large delta wing is complemented by a pair of canards with flaps. These shortened its landing run so much that it could operate from ordinary roads. It is exactly the shape of this canard and the way it joins the fuselage that anyone who knows the Viggen notices on a model. The AJ-37, SF-37 and SH-37 versions named in the designation belong to the family of single-seat machines.
It replaces the canards of the kit with parts of corrected shape, which means it puts right a detail the kit renders inaccurately. Which kit the set belongs to is not stated, so compare the shape and the spacing of the pins with your model before gluing. Correcting a shape is a change that looks inconspicuous on a finished model, but on this silhouette it is decisive: a wrongly shaped canard spoils the impression of the whole aircraft.
This is an accessory for a kit. The aircraft model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
