Quinta Studio Albatros D.III 1:48 - color 3D interior

This set is NOT an aircraft kit, but an interior detail accessory. It consists of 3D printed and fully precolored cockpit parts applied on decal paper. They replace the flat cockpit elements from the plastic kit and give the space a real relief and color without the need for painting.

How the set works

• It combines the advantages of a decal and of raised detail - it is applied like a decal, but it has real depth.
• It typically contains the instrument panel, the side walls and further elements of the cockpit.
• The parts are colored and shaded, so the long painting and shading falls away.

Application tips

• Cut out the individual elements, soak them briefly and transfer them onto a clean, degreased surface.
• Do not use decal softeners or decal fixers at all, their chemicals attack the printed resin and ruin the 3D element.
• It is worth finishing with a dark wash to bring out the finest details.
