The Avro Anson is a British twin-engined aircraft of the 1930s. The Mk.I version served at first on maritime patrol duties and later became one of the most widespread machines for training the crews of multi-engined aircraft. The fuselage has extensive glazing on both sides of the cabin, so the inside is visible on a finished model practically along its whole length and an empty cabin shows at once.
The set brings colored interior parts printed on decal paper. The print is three-dimensional, so the instrument panel, the side walls and the seats gain relief of their own. The parts are cut from the sheet, dipped briefly in lukewarm water and slid off the backing paper into place; a decal softener is not needed with them.
Spray the inside with a base color, let it cure properly and go over it with a gloss varnish, because the parts have no adhesive layer of their own. Cut the parts out with a sharp blade close to the edge, dip them in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds, slide them off the paper with tweezers and press them down with a cotton swab. Finish the cabin before you close up the fuselage, as afterwards you will no longer reach into it through the glazing. Mask the windows before spraying the external finish.
The set is for modelers who build the Anson from Airfix and want a detailed glazed cabin without painting small instruments. The work with it is fast and even a modeler with no experience of a fine brush can manage it. It also suits anyone who builds several models at once and wants the interior finished in a single evening. The package contains decals only, and the model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
