The set contains four 3D-printed resin aerial bombs weighing 1000 pounds in the retarded form with high aerodynamic drag, in 1:48 scale. It is an aftermarket accessory for plastic kits for more faithful external stores.
The retarded form of the thousand-pound bomb has an opening tail brake which after release slows the bomb sharply and makes a safe attack from low altitude possible. These bombs were carried by British tactical aircraft of the second half of the 20th century in attacks on ground targets.
Wash any uncured resin off the parts, cut the 3D print supports off and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue. Apply a primer, paint with an airbrush and complete the surface with washes and markings if you wish.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
