The J-20 is a single-seat twin-engined fifth-generation fighter developed by the Chinese maker Chengdu for the People's Liberation Army Air Force. It is a substantial, heavy machine designed with emphasis on reduced radar observability, internal weapons bays and long range. In the so-called Beast Mode the aircraft carries weapons on external pylons, which increases firepower at the price of losing its stealth qualities. Its armament includes medium-range and short-range air-to-air guided missiles.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue them with liquid cement for plastic, then fill and sand the seams. Apply a primer before painting; the large surfaces of this model are best covered with an airbrush. Paint the cockpit and the landing gear bays and pick out their detail before you close the fuselage up. Glue the photo-etched parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Modern Chinese machines wear gray low-visibility camouflage - after the gloss coat and the decals, pick out the panel lines gently with a darker wash.
