It is not an aircraft model but replacement landing gear wheels that refine a plastic kit of the French Dassault Super Etendard carrier-based attack aircraft. The resin tires offer a faithful tread pattern and fine detail on the hubs and the hub caps.
The Dassault Super Etendard was a French single-seat carrier-based attack aircraft that served with naval aviation from the end of the 1970s and became known for its use of antiship missiles. The operational loads on carrier aircraft make faithful wheels a rewarding detail.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); sand with respiratory protection. Shade the tires in a matte dark gray and pick out the hubs with a wash; a weighted effect on the contact patch adds realism.
Supplied as a resin set, unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
