This detailed 3D-printed resin set holds a faithfully rendered engine exhaust nozzle for models of the Convair F-102A Delta Dagger interceptor in 1:48 scale. It replaces the simplified plastic part and gives the tail of the aircraft realistic depth. It is an accessory, not an aircraft model.
The Convair F-102A Delta Dagger was an American supersonic interceptor with a delta wing, part of the air defense of the United States during the Cold War. It was powered by a single afterburning turbojet engine.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue, cut them away from the print supports and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Bring out the inside of the nozzle with metallic shades and a dark wash. Sand the thin edges carefully and with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model are not included in the package.
