The F-105 was an American supersonic combat aircraft developed in the 1950s, single-seat in its basic version. It was among the largest and heaviest machines in its class and was built for a fast run in low over the ground with a bomb load. Unlike most fighter aircraft it had a bomb bay in the fuselage.
