A set of colored three-dimensional decals for the cockpit of the single-seat F-15C fighter in its later form, 1:48 scale. According to its name it is intended for the Hasegawa kit.

The real subject

The F-15C is the single-seat fighter version of the Eagle, an aircraft built for air combat with a wide view from the cockpit. It stayed in service for decades and during that time went through a series of avionics changes that altered above all the inside of the cockpit. The later form therefore looks different from the early machines: display surfaces were added at the expense of round instruments and the control panels were rearranged.

What the set contains

Colored interior elements with modeled relief, that is the instrument panel, the side panels and further surfaces of the cockpit. The dials, the display surfaces and the markings are done in color, and you do not have to paint them in by hand. The maker states the exact scope of the sheet in the instructions.

Application tips

• The way they are applied differs between the individual lines, so go by the instructions from the maker Kelik.
• Varnish the base first, let it dry thoroughly and degrease it; the elements hold only on a smooth, clean surface.
• Lift the elements with tweezers, seat them dry and press them down with a soft tool, so that they settle into the corners as well.
• Check against the machine you are building whether you are building the later form; a separate set exists for the early machines.

For the modeler who is building the later form of the F-15C and wants the cockpit finished quickly and without painting fine detail by hand. It is an accessory for a kit, not the kit itself.
