This is a resin detail set, not an airplane kit. The set contains the exhaust nozzles of the powerplants for models of the Argentine FMA IA-58 Pucara attack aircraft in the A version. The castings have faithful shapes and inner structure and replace the simplified plastic parts. It is intended for 1:48 scale.
The FMA IA-58 Pucara is an Argentine twin-engined turboprop attack and counter-insurgency aircraft. It is notable for good takeoff performance from short, unprepared strips and for heavy gun and bomb armament. It was used, among other places, during the conflict over the Falklands. The pair of turboprop engines gives the type its characteristic silhouette with two tailpipes.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue. Paint the nozzles separately in metallic and burnt shades and blacken the insides for depth. A light wash will bring out the edges.
The set is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
