This is not an aircraft kit but a resin detail set from Reskit. It contains cast landing gear wheels in the type 2 tread variant with a realistic flattening on the contact patch (the weighted version), intended for models of the British fighters Hawker Tempest and Hawker Typhoon in 1:48 scale.
The cast wheels have a faithful tire tread, fine hub detail and a suggested sag under the weight of the aircraft. On a standing model they look more natural than perfectly round plastic and raise the realism of the landing gear. Type 2 differs from the type 1 variant in the tire pattern.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent and separate them from the casting blocks. For painting, mask the hub, or spray the hub and the tire separately and glue them together at the end. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Orient the flattened area straight down toward the ground.
This is an accessory, supplied as resin parts, unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
