CMK 1:48 rear Vickers K machine guns (twin installation) for the Hampden B.Mk.I is a 3D printed resin set with photo-etch for arming the defensive positions of a model faithfully.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an aftermarket detail set, not an airplane kit. The set from the Czech manufacturer CMK contains 3D printed resin Vickers K machine guns in a twin installation supplemented by a photo-etched fret, intended for the defensive position of a model of the bomber Handley Page HP.52 Hampden B.Mk.I in 1:48 scale. It offers finer detail than the plastic parts from the kit.
The Vickers K was a British aircraft machine gun with a high rate of fire, used on the movable defensive positions of a range of machines. The Hampden carried defensive machine guns in the rear positions; a faithful rendering of them brings a model markedly to life.
Separate the parts from the supports, wash and degrease them, and bend the photo-etched parts on a hard surface. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the weapons in dark metal shades and bring the recesses out with a wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
