This small add-on set in 3D-printed resin contains the rear tail wheel of the early type 1 for a Junkers Ju 88 model in 1:48 scale. 3D printing gives a faithful tire tread and a well-defined hub and fork. The dimensions of the wheel and of the pin match the ICM kit.
The Junkers Ju 88 was a German multipurpose twin-engined aircraft used as a bomber, a night fighter and a reconnaissance machine. The small tail wheel at the rear appeared in several forms during production, with the early type differing in shape from the later versions.
Separate the part from the print support, clean it up gently and wash it. It is bonded with super glue. Paint the tire in a matte dark gray and the hub and the fork in the shade of the landing gear.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
