The U-2 Dragon Lady is a single-seat high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft able to operate at very high levels. The U-2S version has a modernized engine and avionics. Senior Span is a satellite data link (SATCOM) for passing reconnaissance data on beyond the line of sight of a ground station in near real time; it is recognizable by the prominent spine antenna fairing on the upper side of the fuselage. Thanks to it the aircraft can relay data by satellite from a great distance.
Glue the long slender wings carefully and let them cure thoroughly so that they keep the correct dihedral. Paint the cockpit in detail and mask the glazing. Bring the typical overall black finish to life with gentle variation in the shades so that the surface does not look flat; a matte coat underlines the character of a reconnaissance machine. Glue with thin cement for plastic and lay the colors down with an airbrush.
