The A-7E Corsair II cockpit (late version, basic edition with 3D decals) in 1:48 scale is a resin, 3D-printed detail set from Reskit that markedly sharpens the cockpit of a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The detail set replaces the cockpit of a plastic model of the single-seat A-7E Corsair II attack aircraft in its late form. It is not an aircraft kit but a refining accessory: resin (3D-printed) parts for the instrument panel, the side consoles and the cockpit tub, complemented by colored self-adhesive 3D decals that faithfully imitate the instruments and the lettering. The basic edition contains fewer parts than the fully detailed variant and puts the emphasis on a quick and striking build.
The A-7 Corsair II was an American subsonic carrier attack aircraft. The late A-7E version carried upgraded avionics and was deployed with the Navy in a number of conflicts. A faithful cockpit is one of the most closely watched details on a model with the canopy open.
First wash the uncured print resin residue off the resin parts, cut off the print supports and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The colored 3D decals are applied as stickers onto a prepared surface. Check the fit in your particular model before assembly.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
