The set contains four 3D-printed resin Matra-155 rocket pods in 1:48 scale. It is an aftermarket accessory for plastic kits that gives the external stores an accurate shape and fine detail.
The Matra-155 is a French external pod for unguided rockets of 68 mm caliber. It was used by a range of Western combat and training aircraft of the second half of the 20th century for attacks on ground targets. The cylindrical body with its characteristic front section is a typical element of the external stores of these machines.
Wash any uncured resin off the parts, cut the 3D print supports off carefully and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Make the joints with super glue. Apply a primer, paint with an airbrush and pick the surface out with washes and light weathering if you wish.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
