This is NOT an aircraft kit but a resin and 3D-printed detail accessory from Reskit in 1:48 scale. The set replaces the wheels from the original kit with more faithful parts for the late versions of the F-15C and F-15D Eagle fighters. The tires have a weighted shape with realistic flattening where they touch the ground.
The wheels combine resin castings and 3D-printed parts with a fine tread pattern and detailed hubs matching late production Eagles. The weighted shape gives the model a naturally settled look on a display base.
Wash the parts to remove any mold release agent and separate them carefully from the casting blocks. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tires a matte rubber shade, the hubs in the shade of the subject, and weather them lightly. Painting before assembly makes the work easier.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
