Replacement main wheels for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109F and early machines of the G series in 1:48 scale. The wheels are made as weighted, that is, with a slightly flattened tire contact patch, as it looks on an aircraft standing on the ground. The tread and hub detail of a separate set tends to be more pronounced than on the wheels from a kit sprue.
The Type 1 designation distinguishes the hub version. The shape of the hub on the Bf 109 changed during production, so check against source material which version belongs to your particular machine.
The parts are not polystyrene and ordinary cement for plastic will not bond them. They are bonded with super glue, and on larger contact areas a two-part adhesive helps. Cut off the excess material with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder carefully, so as not to cut into the wheel itself. Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water before painting and let them dry completely, or the paint will hold poorly. The specific preparation procedure is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The package contains wheels for one model. The kit, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
