A detailed resin (3D-printed) set from Reskit that replaces the jet engine exhaust nozzle on a model of the MiG-27 fighter-bomber in the M, D and K versions in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a precisely made accessory for improving a plastic kit already under construction.
On injection-molded kits the production nozzle tends to be simplified. This set brings finely rendered inner and outer surfaces with a faithful structure of panels and cooling louvers, which noticeably raises the realism of the rear end of the model. The parts are designed as a direct replacement with no need for extensive modification.
First wash the parts free of print resin residue, carefully separate them from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Before painting, apply a fine primer that unifies the resin surface with the plastic.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
