Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the MiG-29 fighter (NATO reporting name Fulcrum) in 1:48 scale in an edition from Hobby 2000 focused on the machines of the Czech and Slovak air forces. Hobby 2000 builds this kit on the proven injection mold from Academy and adds high-quality decals (printed by Cartograf) and its own instructions with schemes for Czech and Slovak MiG-29s. The exact contents of the package and the number of schemes follow from the manufacturer's part number.
The MiG-29 is a Soviet twin-engined supersonic air superiority fighter developed by the Mikoyan design bureau. It entered service in the 1980s and was powered by a pair of Klimov RD-33 engines. Characteristic features are the slim mid-set wing blending smoothly into the fuselage and the substantial fins. MiG-29s also served with the Czechoslovak Air Force, and after the country split both the Czech Republic and Slovakia operated them; it is their color schemes that this edition covers.
Glue the parts with a thin plastic cement, fill the joints and sand them smooth. Paint the cockpit interior and pick it out before the fuselage is closed. Apply a gloss coat before the decals, as good decals then settle onto the surface well. Czech and Slovak schemes tend to use gray tactical shades; pick out the panel lines with a fine wash and add restrained service wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
