An injection-molded plastic kit of the French two-seat strike aircraft Dassault Mirage 2000N in 1:48 scale from Kinetic. The boxing brings new decals and focuses on the striking commemorative La Fayette scheme connected with an American tour. The kit allows this specific version of the delta-winged Mirage with a crew of two to be built.
The Mirage 2000N was the two-seat strike version of the French delta-winged Mirage 2000 fighter, adapted for low-level penetration. You can tell it from the single-seat versions by the modified nose and the rear cockpit for the second crew member. It served as a carrier of the French airborne deterrent and was a key part of the strategic forces of the French Air Force for many years of the Cold War and after it.
Use thin cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the cockpit of the two-man crew before the fuselage is closed up; with the slender nose consider adding weight so that the model stands on its nose gear. Apply a primer before painting and spray the paints with an airbrush. On the commemorative scheme with its extensive decals, work with a decal softener so that the decals settle into the engraved lines and onto the curved surfaces.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
