It differs from the 1:32 version precisely in the smaller 1:48 scale, which suits the most widespread models of combat aircraft. The box is usually completed by several types of bomb pallet carrier, alternative tire parts and decals.
The MJ-1 Jammer is a low self-propelled hydraulic lift truck of the US Air Force with which ground crews raise and hang bombs and underwing stores beneath combat aircraft. It has been in service since the late 1950s and proved itself in the Vietnam War, in the Persian Gulf and in later conflicts. The MJ-1C version is the modernized form of this machine. It is small airfield equipment that rounds out the preparation of an aircraft for a combat sortie in a diorama scene.
On a resin and 3D-printed kit, first wash the uncured print resin residue off the parts, carefully cut away the print supports and sand with respiratory protection. In the smaller scale the parts are fine, so work with a sharp knife and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting, lay the yellow down with an airbrush and add the dust and oil traces of service.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
