This accessory is not an aircraft model but a colored replacement for the cockpit instrument panel. The Hungarian maker Red Fox Studio presses it as a layered film with a raised 3D relief, fully colored including dials, labels and warning lights, with imitated reflections in the glass. The set is intended for P-47D-25 Thunderbolt models in 1:48 scale.
The Republic P-47D Thunderbolt was a massive American fighter of the Second World War with a Pratt & Whitney R-2800 radial engine. The D-25 version brought a bubble canopy with markedly better visibility. The Thunderbolt stood out for its ruggedness and for its load-carrying ability with bombs and rockets. Its cockpit has a busy instrument panel, which the set captures.
Cut the parts out, degrease them and glue them with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue. The relief can be brought out with a fine wash. The film can be bent slightly so that it seats on the shape of the tub. The target kit is Hasegawa.
This is a cockpit accessory. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
