The Detailed edition relies on instrument panels and consoles printed in relief and ready to be painted by hand to your own preference. It is an aftermarket accessory from Reskit that lifts the fidelity of the interior well beyond the plastic.
The Republic F-105D was a single-seat supersonic fighter-bomber, the main strike aircraft of the US Air Force over North Vietnam. The early form was marked by a characteristic arrangement of the instrument panel and the side consoles, which the set reproduces with sharp printed relief.
Wash the parts free of uncured print resin residue and separate them from the print supports. Glue resin with cyanoacrylate glue and sand with respiratory protection. Spray the interior with primer and a base color, pick the dials and the lettering out with a brush and dry brushing, and underline the recesses with a wash.
