An accessory set of the German Ruhrstahl X-4 air-to-air guided missile in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Ruhrstahl X-4 was a German air-to-air guided missile developed at the end of the Second World War. It was guided by an operator in the aircraft through commands transmitted along thin wires that unwound from the tips of its wings. The missile had a cruciform arrangement of surfaces and liquid-fuel rocket propulsion. Development could not be brought to combat service before the war ended, yet the X-4 is among the most frequently modeled German weapons of the late period.
The set brings the X-4 missile in 1:48 scale as an accessory for an aircraft model. It is not tied to one particular kit, so it suits builds of so-called last-phase machines as well as a standalone display of the weapon on a base.
The parts are not polystyrene and are glued with super glue. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the rest smooth, proceeding especially carefully on the thin wings. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Try the attachment under the wing dry beforehand, because the pylon has to be adapted to the particular model. Details of preparation are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The set is intended for builders of German aircraft of the end of the Second World War and for collectors of small weapon accessories.
Only the accessory named is in the package. The model of the aircraft, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
