A model of the Swedish fighter Saab AJS-37 Viggen in the striking red farewell scheme Show must go on, in which the type took its leave of service on the switch to the Gripen. Scale 1:48. A kit to be glued and painted.
The Saab 37 Viggen was a Swedish aircraft with the characteristic layout of a double delta with a canard surface. The AJS-37 version was the multirole upgrade of the attack Viggen from the 1990s (it added reconnaissance and an anti-shipping capability); it was powered by an afterburning Volvo RM8 engine with a thrust reverser. The Viggen was designed to operate from road bases as well.
It is worth building the model in subassemblies and testing the fit of the parts dry before gluing. Paint the cockpit and the interior and, if you wish, pick them out with a wash before closing the fuselage. For the best result use a good thin cement for plastic, fine files and, after the primer coat, an airbrush. Apply the decals over a gloss coat and seal them with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
