Color three-dimensional cockpit parts for the Super Mystere B2 in its early form, on backing decal paper, 1:48 scale, for the Azur or Special Hobby kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Super Mystere B2 was a French single-seat fighter of the 1950s, recognizable by the oval air intake in the nose and the swept wing. The set is done for the early form. On this type the cockpit is fairly open to view, so detailed work shows on a finished model.
Color three-dimensional interior parts in 1:48 scale: the instrument panel, the side panels with their controls, the consoles and the seat belts. The relief is printed, so the dials and switches stand proud of the surface and do not read as painted-on artwork.
The elements are applied wet. Cut the part out of the sheet, leave it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper into place. It has no adhesive layer of its own. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin.
Sand the area under the element flat, remove the raised instruments from the kit, wash the area and degrease it. Paint the cockpit walls and polish them with a gloss varnish of the Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22 kind, on which the element holds reliably. Transfer the element with tweezers and press it down with a soft stick from the center to the edges; on curved surfaces a drop of super glue helps.
Only the sheet with the interior parts is supplied. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
