This is not a kit but a photo-etched metal set of details for refining a plastic model of the German Tiger II (King Tiger) heavy tank with the early Porsche turret in 1:48 scale. Thin photo-etched parts replace thick-walled plastic pieces and add fine detail that plastic cannot reach in a small scale.
In 1:48 scale, work with tweezers and a magnifier. Separate the parts with a sharp knife and make the bends along the etched grooves using a bending tool. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer suitable for metal.
The set holds only the photo-etched details, not the model of the tank itself.
