This plastic kit in 1:600 scale from Revell portrays the iconic starship U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 from the classic Star Trek series. The model stands out for its size, the large saucer section, the separate engineering hull and the pair of warp nacelles; transparent parts and a display stand are in the package as well.
The Enterprise NCC-1701 is the most famous ship of the Constitution class and a symbol of the whole Star Trek series. In the fictional world she serves for long-range exploration and diplomatic missions; her silhouette with the saucer hull and two elongated nacelles is among the most recognizable in science fiction. The model also makes it possible to build the alternative markings of other ships of the same class.
The parts are in gray plastic, so the model is designed to be painted. We recommend evening the surface out with a primer, then spraying the light gray shade of the hull with an airbrush and picking the panel lines out lightly. Glue the transparent parts of the nacelles and the deflector with glue for clear plastics, so that they do not fog. The decals settle more easily on a smooth gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
