Precisely turned brass barrels for the Japanese 15.5 cm/60 3rd Year Type naval gun (155 mm caliber, that is 6.1 inches, 60 calibers length) in 1:700 scale from the MASTER company. The package contains 12 pieces and replaces the plastic barrels with a more accurate metal part.
The 15.5 cm/60 3rd Year Type gun originally served as the main caliber of the Mogami class cruisers. After they were rearmed, the turrets were transferred to the giant battleships Yamato and Musashi as secondary armament, and the light cruiser Oyodo was fitted with them as well.
Turned brass guarantees straight barrels with a sharp muzzle. Twelve pieces cover the secondary turrets of the model.
Cut off the original barrel, widen the hole with a fine drill and glue the metal part in with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the brass before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
