An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer First to Fight. The set represents the heavy howitzer of 155 mm caliber in the M1918 A1 version, the American rendering of an original French design.
The M1918 howitzer was the American production version of a French 155 mm heavy howitzer of the First World War period. It can be told from the original French pattern among other things by the straight shape of the gun shield. Weapons of this type stayed in service into the start of the Second World War and made up widespread heavy field artillery.
This is a smaller set with fewer parts, suited to a quicker build as well. Clean the small carriage and wheel parts of their gates and glue them precisely. Lay the base down with an airbrush over primer; dust and mud on the wheels and the lower part are built up with pigments. The howitzer can be set effectively into a diorama with a crew or a tractor.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
