A set of two resin, 3D-printed additional fuel tanks with a capacity of 600 gallons in 1:72 scale from Reskit. The tanks are intended for models of the F-111 range in the A, C, D, E, F and EF-111 versions and complete the external load. It is not a standalone model.

The real subject

The General Dynamics F-111 was an American combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, used in strike and electronic versions. Additional tanks of 600 gallons markedly extended the range and were an ordinary part of the fit across the individual versions.

Building and painting tips

Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the print supports off and line them up with the pylons. Bond with super glue. A primer coat and painting according to the chosen scheme are recommended.
