The A-7A Corsair II, a 1:72 model from Hasegawa, captures the American carrier-borne attack aircraft of the US Navy.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from the Japanese brand Hasegawa in 1:72 scale represents the American A-7A Corsair II carrier-borne attack aircraft. The model has a cockpit with a pilot figure and external stores. It is an older, proven tooling with raised panel lines. Supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The A-7 Corsair II was an American subsonic carrier-borne attack aircraft of the US Navy, developed as a successor to the older A-4 type. The A-7A version was the first production variant deployed from the decks of aircraft carriers. The aircraft proved itself thanks to its long range and the weight of armament it could carry, and it became the backbone of carrier-borne attack aviation of its era.
The raised panel lines stand out once a fine wash is laid on. Add belts and details to the cockpit, and fill and sand the seams. On a naval aircraft a combination of a light underside with gray or colored upper surfaces suits the marking option you choose. Place the external stores according to the diagram supplied.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
