A 3D printed resin set of external stores for modelers. It is not a stand-alone model but an accessory: a set of six (6 pcs) French precision-guided AASM-250 Hammer bombs in the thermally protected version, in 1:72 scale. It serves to arm models of modern combat aircraft with realistic guided ordnance that plastic kits as a rule do not contain.

The real subject

The AASM Hammer (Armement Air-Sol Modulaire) is French modular precision-guided ordnance: a guidance front section and a rear module with fins and a rocket booster are fitted to a conventional bomb, which gives it glide range and accuracy. The AASM-250 is the variant based on a bomb of the 250 kg weight class. The ordnance is carried by aircraft such as the Rafale, the Mirage 2000 and the MiG-29.

How to use the set

Separate the parts from the print supports, wash off the print resin residue and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Hang the bombs on the pylons of the model according to the real configuration of the aircraft concerned; apply primer before painting.
