A set of four resin (3D printed) AIM-7M Sparrow III air-to-air missiles in 1:72 scale from Reskit. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for filling the external stores of a model with realistic armament.
The AIM-7M is a late version of the American semi-active radar homing medium-range air-to-air missile. It brought a monopulse seeker head with better resistance to jamming and the ability to hit targets flying lower down. It entered service in the 1980s on aircraft such as the F-14 Tomcat, the F-15 Eagle, the F-16 and the F/A-18.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, separate them from the print supports and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply primer before painting and lay the low visibility shades down with an airbrush. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
