A 3D-printed resin detail accessory from the Ukrainian manufacturer Reskit. It is not a standalone model but a faithful scale rendering of the American AN/ALQ-131 jamming pod in its deep variant, which the aircraft model carries on a pylon.
The AN/ALQ-131 is an active electronic warfare pod that jams air defense radars and protects US Air Force tactical aircraft. The deep version has a taller body with a greater number of modules and was ordinary equipment on fighters and attack machines from the 1970s onward.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, separate them from the print supports and join them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand with respiratory protection. Apply a smooth primer coat before the decals and the weathering.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unpainted and unassembled; paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
