A resin set of replacement wheels for models of the Blackburn Buccaneer S.2 carrier-borne strike aircraft in 1:72 scale. The wheels replace the plastic parts from the base kit and bring a finer relief of the tread pattern and more accurate hubs. The set is the work of Reskit.
Production wheels in small scale tend to be simplified and carry marks of the mold. The resin castings have crisper detail, which once painted improves the look of the sturdy carrier landing gear. The wheels are fitted in place of the parts out of the box.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water because of the mold release agent. Separate the wheels from the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
