This 3D-printed resin accessory represents the centerline (fuselage) multi weapon pylon of the F-105 Thunderchief. It is not an aircraft model, but a part for the lower fuselage station on which armament is hung. The printing captures fine detail and crisp edges.
The Republic F-105D and F-105G Thunderchief carried a multi weapon pylon on the centerline fuselage station, adapted for various combinations of bombs and tanks. The F-105G version in Wild Weasel fit concentrated on suppressing air defenses. A faithful pylon completes a model with an authentic lower station.
Wash the print resin residue off the part, separate the print supports and sand the surface down with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting; the small details come out once the shadows are lightly emphasized.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without a host model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
