Chevrolet wheels - resin wheel set (1:72)

A detailed set of cast resin wheels in 1:72 scale, intended as a replacement for the original wheels on a model of a Chevrolet vehicle - typically the trucks and reconnaissance cars of the type used by desert units in the Second World War. The castings offer a sharper tread pattern and a cleaner shape than the production plastic parts. This is not a model of the vehicle but an upgrade accessory for more experienced modelers.

Use

• First wash the parts to remove mold release residue (lukewarm soapy water)
• Carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean the surfaces with a file or abrasive paper
• Glue the wheels with super glue (cyanoacrylate); resin will not bond with ordinary cement for plastic
• Protect your airways when sanding resin - do not breathe in the dust
• Apply a primer before painting; it will reveal any flaws on the casting

For more advanced modelers who want to improve a model of a Chevrolet vehicle in 1:72 scale with more faithful wheels. Experience with resin and super glue is assumed.
