A resin detail set of replacement wheels in 1:72 scale from Reskit. It is not an aircraft kit but an aftermarket accessory. It replaces the basic plastic wheels with cleanly cast resin parts with a more faithful tire tread pattern and fine detail on the hubs.
On the F-102 delta fighter the landing gear is clearly visible, and resin wheels give it a more convincing look than the plastic from the box. The castings usually come with a suggestion of weighted tires, so the aircraft looks as if it really stood on the ground with its full weight. The set is intended for F-102 Delta Dagger models.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand them (protect your airways). They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting and spray the tires and the hubs separately.
The set contains only the resin wheel parts and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the aircraft model are not included in the package.
