Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the British Cromwell Mk.IV cruiser tank in the type C hull version, in 1:72 scale from the IBG brand. The kit holds photo-etched parts and offers several marking options, among them units deployed in Normandy.
The Cromwell was a British cruiser tank that entered service just in time for the Normandy landings in 1944. It stood out for its powerful Meteor engine derived from an aero engine, which gave it high speed and mobility for its day. The Mk.IV version carried a 75 mm gun suited both against armored targets and for firing high-explosive shells in support of the infantry.
Paint the running gear and the tracks before you close up the hull. Bond the photo-etched parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the parts before painting, lay down a primer and spray the base shade with an airbrush. British tanks come into their own after a panel emphasis, gentle weathering and dust and mud effects added with pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
